West Michigan Computer Care is Alive & Well!

After a short hiatus, West Michigan Computer Care has resumed service to Kalamazoo and the surrounding area. We have made a few changes to streamline the business:

  • On-site service/pickup: We ONLY provide on-site service. If you are not comfortable with a technician in your home, that’s okay. Our technicians will be happy to meet you at your front door, pick your computer, service it off-site, then bring it back to you when the work is complete.
  • Voicemail appointment requests: When you need help, call us at the same number: 269-327-1574. You will likely reach our voicemail. Please leave a message with a brief description of your problem, and we’ll return your call to schedule an appointment – normally within a few hours. In most cases, appointments will be scheduled weekdays after 5 pm, and Saturdays before noon.
  • Rates: Our rates are largely unchanged. However, we now assess a minimum charge, which includes a fee for the trip, and 30 minutes of labor. Anything over 30 minutes is billed by the quarter hour. Unless prior arrangements are made, payment is expected at the time of service or computer delivery.
  • Mobile invoicing and payment processing: Our new, secure “GoPayment” system allows us to generate invoices, collect payment, and provide receipts instantly to your email account while we are re on-site. This system is managed by Intuit, the makers of Quicken and Quickbooks – so you can rest assured your credit card information is protected by industry standard security. Our relationship with GoPayment allows us to accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash, and personal checks.

Something that has not changed: West Michigan Computer Care is still one of the only computer service providers in Kalamazoo with Dell Registered Partner status – and our price always includes in-home delivery, setup, and prep!
